Lomma Beach

Leo, Chris, Robert, Stefano, Houda, Kadj, Dan, and I went to the beach. Lomma was like a 10 - 15 minute drive and the weather was pretty good except for a little bit of overcast and some wind. I brought my Frisbee and we juggled the soccer ball and played a bit of volleyball. All of the guys were surpised with my Frisbee skills and commented that at first glance I didn't look so "sporty".

The beach was quite different in one aspect: the whole shoreline was rimmed with kelp. Houda was the first to go into the water and when she came back in she quickly found out that there were jellyfish. Even though she didn't get stung, when we went it we ran with tippytoes hoping to minimize the surface area the jellyfishes would be able to hit. I guess it worked too because we didn't get stung. The water was quite fine. It was a little cooler than lukewarm and it was shallow pretty far out. It probably went up a little past my navel from the shore to where US beach waves usually break.

When we came back we went to Malmo for the Malmo festival. The music that we heard sucked ass. We heard "rock bands" that barked into the microphone and were dressed in goth with headbanging hair. We had just seen Ace Ventura the night before, so it made me laugh. Even though the music sucked, it was fun to sit around and talk about the plethora of different types of people.
